Sell Me Your Manga!
MapleManga is now offering to buy your manga from you in exchange for cash or our very own store credit. All shipping is covered by maplemanga! To sell your manga all you need to do is follow the instructions below and send an email to the following address:
In order to be eligible to sell you must:
- Be from Canada
- Follow the instructions for the email
Please note that due to shipping and other related costs I will only be making offers on larger sets or collection. As a general rule of thumb the larger the set/collection the more likely I will make an offer on at least one set. Saying that, I am accepting emails on anything and will let you know whether I am interested no matter what you are looking to sell.
After your email is sent expect a response within 24 hours on whether I am interested in the manga you are selling or not.
Instructions
1: Subject Line
The title must contain what you are looking to sell. Below are keywords to include in the title of the email to identify what you are selling. Please use the following terms:
SET = Many volumes from a singles series. For example, Fruits Basket set 5-11, Parasyte set 2-8.
COMPLETE SET = Many volumes that make up the entirety of a series. Examples: Fruits Basket with Another Complete Set, Parasyte Complete Set.
COLLECTION = A collection made up of many volumes from a variety of series.
Use these keywords in conjunction with the names of the series you are looking to sell in the email title and/or body.
Step 2: Email Body
The email body will contain any other relevant information about the sets including a picture of every volume you are looking to sell. Within the email body please include:
IMAGES: The volumes you are looking to sell must be all be within a picture included in the email body. This is just to confirm whether you have the sets so do not feel obligated to provide detailed pictures, I will ask if I need them in the future.
IF YOU ARE SELLING A COLLECTION the email body is where you can include the list of what you're looking to sell.
Step 3: Await Response
I will respond to your email saying if I am interested or not. If I am interested in what you are offering I will follow up with next steps, whether that be a request for more photos or walking you through the shipping process.
Attached is an example of how to ship manga. I will purchase a label after both parties have come to an agreement and the manga will be shipped out. Once the order has updated shipping you will receive the agreed amount through PayPal, etransfer, or store credit.
